The Pauly D Project

I love Jersey Shore. It's must-see tv in my house and my weekends actually start on Jersday. I had big hopes when my favorite Seaside Heights resident was getting his own show, but....and that's a big but...the show is a pretty big disappointment. From the Entourage-esque concept, to the sad repetition of everything in the show. We get it that your residency is a big deal, and we get it can all go away with one bad move, but really do we have to constantly hear it during every confessional taping?

Biggie's been with his girlfriend 4 years, and just now that he's on tv decides he wants to get married. How pathetically predictable, There's no real drama because Pauly "kills" every set, and Ryan acts like a tough guy but really isn't. Jerry tries his best to be a scene-stealer, but you can see it coming a mile away. Pauly is actually kind of quiet and boring on the show,

All that being said, it's still better than most reality shows on tv. I remain loyal to the Shore crew, because they gave us something wildly entertaining and interesting. It's still better than the a certain fame whore family I dare not mention, Pauly's a cool guy and it shows in his show, He's seems genuine, and refreshingly grounded despite his fame. It is getting better, but I don't know if it's enough for a 2nd season, although I wish him the best.
