This farce centers on the absurd world surrounding the Senator Powers. It's genre of humor shares some basics with the show Soap . The characters are well developed and each contributes another facet of ludicrousness to the mix. The writing is very witty and creative, the acting is excellent and the characters well cast. It's unfortunate that it only lasted a few seasons, but perhaps it's hard to produce this high level year after year. .
