The Price Is Right

This is what CBS has come to! They again cancled a long running soap opera to put a game show in it's place. At some later date, they will have some new talk show in ATWT's time slot. CBS has started a downhill spirial into darkness. It was bad enough when they cancled Guiding Light, just last year but too double the already wounds of their fans by casting out As The World Turns exactly one year later was a very dangerous mistake!! So what about their so called budget & so called ratings. CBS has put their own reputation on the line!! Even the talk show they plan to air in ATWT's place is a copycat show of the popular The View. CBS is so lame & desperate they can't even come up with an idea of their own. They have to copy anouther show. Only proves that CBS has lost their edge.They are not on top of their game anymore. If I weren't so vilently mad at CBS I normily would have felt sorry for the once thriving network. Taking two beloved soap operas, one right after the other speaks desperation on their part. The so called leader of televison has truly sunk to the bottom of the landslide. Like quicksand, trying desperatly to hold on. The fans of ATWT are griving the loss of this long running show as if it were a death in their family. Maybe CBS thinks they are moving forward to a bright future, yet in reality they are in quicksand.
