A wagon train traveling across the prairie is attacked by the Cheyenne. Young Morgan Baudine and his sister Patricia are captured and taken to separate villages. Eight years later, Morgan "Two Persons" Baudine is freed by the Army. Learning that his sister is still reputed to be living with the Cheyenne, Morgan begins a search to find her. By chance, he meets Quentin, his long-lost brother, who has been raised by an aunt in San Francisco. The two brothers begin a hazardous quest to find their sister.
