About The Show
Four Americans are summoned to the Glendora: Dan Underwood, a photojournalist; Carrie Welby, a New York department store shoe buyer; Art Henley, a retired, young-at-heart cop from Wilko, Kansas; and Cody Johnson, a confidence man. Due to a bizarre and extremely unlikely set of circumstances, each is found to be a descendant of the Glendoran royal family.
In a last-ditch attempt to save Glendora from falling under the yoke of French rule, the ancient rite of the quest is revived. According to tradition, the quest is a sort of race held in order to find the most worthy, noble, and valorous person to become the monarch.
Jeopardizing the success of the Americans' quests is Louis Dardinay, an exiled Glendoran count who seeks to regain his title by making sure no one is crowned and Glendora is reclaimed by the French. The series follows the adventures of Dan, Carrie, Art, and Cody as they reluctantly work as a team to complete their quests and defeat the wicked Dardinay.
