As a fan of anything zombie, Walking Dead was one show I wasn't going to miss. That said, the show is a little slow and some of the characters need to be replaced or livened up. .

To LIVEN UP Walking Dead
1. Eliminate Rick's wife (Lori Grimes) She not very good looking. She's both bossy and weak. Her character is boring. Looks like in the comic series, Rick's new baby and wife die. See below. Too bad they didn't stick to script but they can still kill her off and give her baby to Carol to take care of. If Lori stays, DEFINITELY make her baby Shane's to spice up the show and her crappy character. It would be great to see Lori's inflated ego which is based solely on Rick's leadership role take a blow when she sees her wife of leader role go away when Shane takes over again.
Judith "Judy" Grimes -"Judy Grimes is the newborn daughter of Lori and Rick, (though it is strongly implied that Shane is her actual father) sister of Carl. Judy's life came to an abrupt and tragic end as she, along with her mother, were killed in the final stages of the Woodbury Army's assault on the prison where she and the other zombie plague survivors resided."
2. They should have killed off Rick's blah son, Carl, who if he had freckles would look like Howdy Doody rather than Sophia who had potential. They need to bring another older child into the group. Then Carl and another kid can get into all sorts of trouble and give more excitement to Car's character. If Carl lives, let him get tight with the tough guys Shane/Daryle and hopefully Jimmy and stand with them against his father Rick when Shane makes his move to take back the leadership position of the group he formed.
3. Have Shane put Rick in his place. It was Shane's group FIRST. Rick joined them then put himself in charge. He is weak. Rck/Lori/Carl are boring as group. Shake them up and/or break them up.
4. DEFINITELY make Lori's baby be Shanes no matter what happens.
5. Give Tdog a girlfriend and more of a role.
6. Bring Merle back and have him set up a group on another farm close by. He can take some of the women living in the farm house. Having Merle nearby guarantees problems.
7. It would drive Dale crazy if Shane got Andrea pregnant and then dumped her.
