First off, i love the show and think it`s very well done; having never read the graphic novels, every episode is a surprise to me. I hear the show closely parallels the novels. The world that was created is a real nightmare that you can immerse yourself in. Not for everyone, that`s for sure. It`s interesting watching Rick (my favorite character) as he changes into someone in danger of losing his humanity as he struggles to keep himself and his family alive, along with an ever shrinking group of survivors he feels responsible for. Alive is one thing, mentally intact is another. I wonder how I would act and react if i was in his shoes.
