The Walking Dumb

Never have I seen more moronic decision making than in the Walking Dead or what I like to call "The Walking Dumb". The lead character and group decision making is absolutely unbelievable, the plot is super silly, and any small portion of relatable credibility is washed away with each episode. I found the most realistic scene in The Walking Dumb to be when the husband with wife and kids, leaves the safety of the larger more armed group, to venture across the US in search of relatives somewhere, hopeful that the family station wagon would not break down and that all rations for food and gas would be readily accessible. Now most would say that this is an incredulous illustration of the storyline, but really...with the decisions the Sheriff keeps making, which seems to always cause death in his lame ass choices of heroism over family...it made sense that people would evacuate...sensing they may be safer away from the Sheriff...than with him.

The Walking Dumb is perhaps the most unrealistic of all the Zombie films...with so many machine gun holes in the plot.

-Returning to downtown Atlanta for a weapons bag in the middle of a Zombie pack, when they could have headed back to his small town police station for the remaining arsenal he had previously left.

-Not hearing the herd of zombies out around a campfire in the countryside...first, you hear the slightest cracking of twigs in the woods when camping...no matter how loud the voices. Were these a stealth Zomby crew...and why was not one person on night guard.

-Why do so many parks and lawns seem so manicured? Is there a Zomby Landscape company that tends to neighborhood and city beautification?

-How come the group is not walking around with long swords or searching for those kinds of weaponry?

-How come the Zomby blood in not infectious? Perhaps the crazy Scientist should have just taken blood from all the characters, then he would have a vaccine...because none of these people seem to catch any virus from the blood contact.

-How does a person on top of a vehicle with binoculars, not see the Zomby hoard until they are 25 ft from the group and everyone must crawl under a car in panic....then are the stealth Zomby crews desensitized to human flesh odor, unlike the Zomby city crews, who can smell human flesh all with a the slightest of whiff?

-Would not all characters be trained to use weapons at this time in their history of life with Zombies? My kid would have a gun, use that gun, and be given any other metal weapon...just in case a weapon should misfire. All women would know how to wield an axe, shoot a gun, jab with a spear, or shoot a crossbow.

What father, who is one of the lucky few to have his family still living...would EVER leave his family for any risk factor at all. A father would stay with his family, to protect them...at ALL TIMES.

These are just a few examples of the many gaggles my friends and I have every time we watch this program. WE groan at the written script which values man to be completely innane and actually unworthy of survival under a Zomby society. AMC...it was a great concept...but you wrote it for an 8 year olds reality. We all wanted this to be the amazing Zomby series...but instead...we are watching the worst Zomby script attempt to date.
