Perhaps the best show in the history of television, belongs in the same mention with The Twilight Zone and a handful of other shows that transcend the medium altogether. Television is unlikely to produce anything equal to it in the future.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I am truly sad the The Wire is coming to an end..I have enjoyed the
story lines, the raw and real emotions that this drama offered! This

The Wire is one of the best shows on TV. I'm not one to bestow greatness on anything easily, but the Wire lives up to the claim as one of the best ever.
