WTF happened to this show

In the 1st season this show was the best sitcom ever made.(it won an emmy) Then it turned into another [profane]com that you watch and think, I can't believe people get paid to make a show that is this bad. I think what happened was Michael Dinner took over as the executive producer, he ruins every show he works on.
About The Show
A comedy series set in the late 1960s, looking back through the eyes of Kevin, the youngest of three children in the Arnold family, on the joys and tribulations of growing up in a typical suburban household.
