Live-action series following the misadventures of Mildred Hubble, a teenage witch-in-training at Miss Cackle's Academy For Witches, located in a gloomy but magical castle in the English countryside. Clumsy Mildred seems to have more problems than the others, especially under the critical eye of the school's headmistress, Miss Hardbroom. Other characters include: Miss Agatha, the evil twin sister of headmistress Miss Cackle; Miss Bat, the eccentric chanting mistress; Miss Drill, the non-witch games mistress; Mrs. Tapioca, the school cook; wizard Egbert Hellebore, the arrogant head of a school for apprentice wizards; Ethel Hallow, the sneaky sworn enemy of Mildred; and Maud Moonshine, Mildred's best friend.
