About The Show
The series, set in Chester, Pennsylvania in 1777, follows the exploits of the Yankee Doodle Society, a secret organization comprised of four people: Jeremy Larken, a man regarded as the village idiot; Henry Abington, a chemist and explosives expert; Isak Poole, a brawny blacksmith; and Elizabeth Coates, their one-woman auxiliary. Pretending to be indifferent to the American cause, they struggle to foil British attempts to crush the revolution.
