Melissa Rochester overcame an awkward childhood to become a successful and beautiful young PR executive. Drew Hesler, the cool kid from junior high and her main source of adolescent misery, walks back into her life to hire her to represent his restaurant. He doesn't recognize her and, at the encouragement of her best friend, Mel sees an opportunity to get even with the man who once humiliated her. What she slowly realizes though is that as much as she has changed on the outside, he too hasd changed on the inside and she finds herself falling for the one man she thought she would always hate...and the feeling appears to be mutual.
