An angel offers a literary agent, whose wife of ten years died just before Christmas, a chance to relive the last three days of his wife's life. Literary agent Andrew Farmer has lost his way. Ten years ago, he married his childhood sweetheart, Beth, whom he now takes for granted. But when Beth is tragically killed just days before Christmas, he is devastated. Visited by an angel, Lionel, Andrew is given a very unusual Christmas gift -- the chance to relive the past three days of his wife's life. There is just one condition -- he cannot change fate.
