Where'd They Get That Actress!!!???

Usually when a show is so good (for me) it prompts a review, but this one was so bad, I felt I had to comment on it. Being a SciFi buff and intrigued by this new twist on The Wizard of Oz, I looked forward to watching. Well...the first thing that struck me was how deadpan the actress who played Dorothy was. I thought she'd get better, but she never did. Her voice sounded the same in each scene...no matter what the emotion was supposed to be. If it wasn't for Neal McDonough (Tin Man), I wouldn't have watched as long as I did, though I also like the actor who played Glitch . One hour and twenty minutes into the first episode, I couldn't take it anymore so I turned it off! I didn't bother with episode 2 but curiosity made me stop when the final episode was very near it's end as I channel surfed. I thought the ending was rather corny. I just can't believe that they spent all that money for this production and cast an actress who seemed as bored as she was boring then closed with such a trite ending to boot. I don't mean to be unkind, but they could have done way better than that!
