A television movie, broadcast as part of "The ABC Mystery Movie," in which Gideon Oliver fights to keep his most brilliant student from slipping back into the tradition-bound world of his family, where the young man's father is the Chinatown equivalent of "The Godfather." One killing leads to another after an Asian-American politician with shady connections is executed.
