This show is not good........... ITS AWESOMELY GREAT!!!
It is absolutely addictive... I love cooking and the food network is absolutely entertaining as well as informative; however, the TOP CHEF show never ceases to amaze me.
You do get to learn some tips that the chefs use, but I believe that some of the great aspects of the show, is that, not only do you see the chefs successful dishes.... but you also see their horrible disastreous dishes.
As a home cook, I would consider myself pretty well-rounded, but as a homecook, we all know that not all your dishes are out of this world.
They show crazy recipes that push the limit, after all, it is a competition.
If you like IRON CHEF.............you'll fall in love with TOP CHEF...
Oh.... and the host is lovely.... The judges are brutally honest, and the people are depressingly similar to your everyday joes. The goods and bads.... Don't we love it all?

About The Show
A group of aspiring chefs, both professionally trained and self-taught, compete in a series of culinary challenges. Each week, one contestant will be eliminated by a group of well-known judges. The winning chef will receive $100,000 in seed money to help with their culinary career and be featured in various culinary events and publications.
