The program begins with a typical day in the life of Amber, a 19-year-old intravenous meth addict who is traveling across West Los Angeles in search of somewhere to shoot up. Next, Dr. Alex Stalcup, one of the few physicians treating meth addiction, talks about how quickly the drug is spreading and how dangerous it is. Finally, young people from Iowa, Arizona and northern California attest to the drug's rapid spread.
