I saw a live production of "Twigs" many years ago in St.Louis. Cloris Leachman was absolutely brilliant playing all 4 of the women in a somewhat quirky & sometimes dysfunctional family. Her portrayal of each of the women is remarkable, but the real payoff is in the 4th act when we meet the mother of the 4 daughters, & discover that each of the daughter's quirks are all to be found in the mother they share. A great piece of theatre made all the more memorable by the astonishing work of Ms. Leachman.

A comedy comprised of four one-act plays in which Cloris Leachman portrays three sisters and their feisty old Irish Catholic mother, each with a heartwarming and often hilarious story to tell.
