A comedy series that looks at the lives of six college freshmen who help each other face the freedoms and responsibilities that come along with being away from home for the first time. College life is seen through the eyes of Steven Karp, a kid who grew up seven inches over summer, going from a scrawny high school senior to potentially handsome college student. Steven heads off for his first day of college where he meets new British roommate, Lloyd, a suave theater major. They share a suite with Marshall, a music major, and Ron, a business major with a biting sense of humor. They live across the hall from Lizzie, the girl Steven likes but who has a boyfriend back home, and Rachel, Lizzie's panic-stricken roommate.
