VH1 Rock Honors

I was at this show. One of the best shows I have ever been to. How often do you get to see so many great bands on one bill? Unreal!! Brian May jamming with the Foo Fighters, or with Def Leppard! Godsmack surprised me. They really rocked! Priest is always great. Rob Halford sings his ass off as usual. Def Leppard was cool to see. Of course seeing Ace Frehley jam was the highlight! We were told by Vh1 when were in line that Ace Frehley was there and that he was going to play with an All Star band. To see him jam without Kiss, covering a Kiss classic was awesome! The All Star band rocked God Of Thunder! Kiss ended the show, playing Detroit Rock City, Duece, and Love Gun. What was left out was after all the bands took a bow, Kiss came back and played an impromptu encore. Nobody expected it. Very cool touch by Kiss. I read an interview with Gene Simmons, and he actually apologized to all the bands for them doing that. Cool to know it wasnt planned. Anyways they played Makin Love. From beginning to end, an amazing show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
