About The Show
An epic historical drama set in the first century A.D. follows the revolt against ancient Rome as led by Britain's Queen Boudica, the warrior queen. After her husband is humilated by Claudius and mysteriously dies after agreeing to a costly peace treaty, Claudius is then murdered and the psychotic Nero takes control of the Empire, immediately attacking Boudica's land. She and her daughter's are captured and raped. Once released she vows to eject the oppressors from her kingdom and leads the bloody battle to freedom.
