Wings

Joe and Brian Hackett are two very different brothers who run a fledgling commuter airline on the island of Nantucket staffed by a lively and opinionated extended family of sorts. Button-downed, compulsively well-organized Joe finds himself regularly exasperated by the hang-loose, prankish younger sibling from whom he was estranged until recently. Helen Chappel, who runs the lunch counter and moonlights as a cello teacher, is a childhood friend of the Hacketts. Other airport employees include: Roy Biggins, the blustery owner of a rival airline; Faye Evelyn Cochran, a perky ex-flight attendant in her sixties who is now working behind the ticket counter; and Lowell Mather, the eccentric general maintenance man.
