About The Show
A story about the paranoia that arises when a group of boys are convinced there is a German spy living in their midst. Carl Zerk is a young German boy living in a small rural town in 1943, and his blonde, Teutonic looks, heavy German accent, and odd-looking clothes set him apart from his classmates. Some students in his school begin to think he is a spy planted by the Germans to sabotage the war effort and he ends up mercilessly persecuted. Only one boy, Eddie Bishop, stands up for Zerk.
