About The Show
The first televison adaptation of the Universal Press Syndicate comic strip "Ziggy" by Tom Wilson. The Christmas story follows a day in the life of Ziggy ("a little guy in a big world, overweight and overwhelmed") as he contemplates becoming a sidewalk Santa. Unfortunately, Ziggy goes to work for a con artist who pockets the money his Santas collect.
The story also follows Ziggy as he saves an endangered Christmas tree, befriends a stray kitten, saves a turkey from becoming dinner, and brings some Christmas cheer to a group of orphans.
