Quinn Mallory, a physics grad student, accidentally creates a dimensional gateway in his basement while working on an experiment. Each week, he and three other interdimensional travelers, including Wade Wells, a computer specialist; Maximillian Arturo, an arrogant physics professor; and Rembrandt "Crying Man" Brown, a former R&B singer, are transported into different parallel universes -- always Earth, always present day, but never home.
