"Rage" is an appropriate title for this episode because I'll bet it's what long-suffering fans are feeling after watching it. It's Thanksgiving, and Clark is feeling mopey (novel!) about missing his dad and ruining life for everyone around him and all that. MamaKent is determined to have a great Thanksgiving meal, dammit. She invites Papa Luthor, who almost kisses her just as he's about to decline the invitation. MamaKent acknowledges that there's definitely something going on between them, but says she needs a little more time. Oliver is also invited, but he's got some problems. Just when Lois is about to jump his bones, he heeds the call of crime-fighting duty, only to be shot in the chest. He heals up quickly, thanks to a super-secret healing formula funded by Lex and administered by a lady doctor to halfway-house residents. One of those residents -- the guy who shot Oliver-as-Green-Arrow -- ends up killing the doctor, just after Lex demands results from the project he funded. Oliver gets hooked on the medication and goes into some rages, including throwing Lois through a glass table, which is something a normal person might do if they had to listen to her talk for an extended period. Clark confronts Oliver, who has decided to go cold turkey...just in time for Thanksgiving. The gang gathers for a nice meal -- Lois, Chloe, Jimmy (via text message), Papa Luthor (!), and MamaKent. The conversation must have, at some point, come around to which person at the table has tried to kill or threatened to kill someone else prior to the dinner. Meanwhile, Lana is nauseated and passing out all over the place. It turns out she's pregnant, knocked up by Lex's powerful, evil seed. Like we didn't see this coming. She tells only Chloe, even though she has the perfect opportunity to tell Lex over their stiff, overly formal Thanksgiving dinner. Props department: we're going to need an extra-long table to signify great riches!
