Terrific show; terrific writing
December 1, 2008Smart, funny, fast paced, each episode could be seen and the viewer would get more and more out of each re-viewing. I'm glad Felicity Huffman played the producer, and the restrained romance between intelligent people --- not beautiful/dumb, but beautiful/smart---was exciting. it would have been too easy casting choice if the character were played by, oh lets say, some actress known for jiggle rather than good acting.Was this review helpful to you? Awesome Show...too bad it was canceled

This was really a great show, its very sad that it was canceled in favor of the West Wing. I love watching reruns of Sports Night. Buy the DVDs....you won't regret it!Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -

This was an awful, awful, awful show.
June 11, 2008Don't waste your money...please. This show is supposed to be a behind the scenes view of ESPN's Sportscenter. The show is painful to watch for any respectable sports fan. The characters were typical stereotypes and I'm sorry but Felicity Huffman isn't hot enough to pull off her character of that girl that every guy wants be with.
