Wish they never ended so soon...

    October 3, 2007
Voyagers, stories were very entertaining! I couldn't wait till next week to see what story would take place. It was either about one of the characters or it was the crew in general with sometimes very comic themes such as the use of the holodeck. The other thing is even though the main concept was the continuation of the crew making it's way back home, each episodes story concept was different. In comparison to another show like Prison Break where the story just continues next week and so on. Besides that, it was a show for the whole family. It is ashame politics took over and ended the show, It's typical of Hollywood to produce a show that we really like and then snatch it out of existence. Instead they gave us, "Enterprise" which I did not like....I didn't like the stories, characters, or the overall visual of the ship....made me feel claustrophobic. The general format of the writing of Voyager/TNG is WHAT WORKED! and if it worked.....why change it? They should have continued the Saga...not go backwards and give us "Enterprise" Andromeda was "Just Ok" but again...I did not like the characters...(except for one) "Laura Bertram"!!

Being on voyager and being light years away from earth gave me a chance to be away from home each week and was........Nice :-)

    I agree

    December 24, 2006
I think it was a great concept leaving behind the same old races and plots (at least barely) for something totally fresh. Kate Mulgrew did a great job as captain of Voyager and would've loved to serve under her command. And as all Star Trek incarnations it took us to a deeper place where all that is left is what's right and what's wrong, and of course what if?... I love this show and I miss it. Spike TV will be airing reruns January 2nd of 2007. Two shows every weekday. I'm looking forward to recording them to DVR but still I want to own the DVD's. I recently nought season 1. The pilot episode is incredible and did make a statement of things to come later in the series. I highly recommend Star Trek: Voyager to anyone who is or isn't a trekker.

Why Do such great shows end abruptly!!!??

    May 20, 2009
I am really sick of cable TV namely Spike TV changing it's line up all the time. Star Trek TNG and Voyager were shows that taught us and made us feel as if we were part of the dream. I really want to see more for us trekkies? Did the dream fade? I hope not! Bring back Voyager, bring back TNG, we want to see it again! Hell they still play I love lucy, the beverly hillbillies... those shows are from the 50's aren't they. I would much rather watch something I enjoy than half of the crap they have on TV these days. Oh and on a final note. spike "Worlds most amazing videos are getting boring!" they aren't even close to being as good as Star Trek!

    Tuvok????

    March 13, 2009
I just started working through this series on Netflix. I recently finished DS9 and thought it was a total let down compared to Next Gen or TOS. I really need to have a good experience with voyager. But.......right from the start i have to deal with Tuvok.....a BLACK Vulcan. What the hell is that? It doesn't even make sense! The Vulcans are a RACE of people that all look strikingly similar (black hair, white skin, pointy ears, straight eyebrows). Now all of a sudden there is a Vulcan with brown skin, a fro, big lips and a shot gun-barrel nose. WTF??!! I know star trek has always gone way overboard to be politically correct but this is just absurd. It simply makes no sense. What's next...a tall Ferrengi with small ears?
