Ok...so how funny is Devon Gummersall as Barry White. I know I know..he has is semi-serious side in some of the scenes, but come ON his name is Barry White. It is obvious that S.O.M. is telling us all to keep our sense of humor about ourselves.

We need this show to help us laugh at our self without slapstick fake laugh track audience. Please bring it back.... As a counselor, it is nice to see us portrayed with human frailities.

From the first moment of the pilot until the last one aired, I have loved the wit, humor, compassion and complexity of the characters. Lilli Taylor is fantastic! The rest of the cast is wonderful. The interplay between the charactrers is great. I especially love the child psychologist!

Please do not let something of this caliber fall to the wayside! I am sick to death of obnoxious teen shows, reality shows, and shows that think they are comedic with a touch of drama. Or dramatic with no pip of emotion except who can jump into bed with who.

It seems that the tv gods only keep shows that are for simple minds. Shows that challenge people to examine the complexity of relationships is beyond them for some reason. Somebody fight for this one to make an appearance once again.

I really am hoping this show has not been cancelled...I really looked forward to watching this show...and now side order of life is on double time. I think state of mind was much better than side order or army wives together. State of Mind is REAL, quirky, witty, fun, honest and refreshing. The actors are good, believable, and inspiring to watch. The story line is entertaining...I just know that this is one show that I really looked forward to watching. I am disappointed that it is not on anymore...Thanks, Lorrie
