This was horrible: contrived, superficial and unfunny. I thought the writers' strike was over, no? Well, where WERE ther writers because surely thay had nothing to do with the limp, paltry lines read by the various presenters.
The one bright spot was the indomitable and incomparable Adam Sandler. Always a pleasure and an honest and humble one too.
Unlike the Scios - Cruise and Smith. And what was with the Smith child and his "attitude", drumming his fingures and chewing gum at the podium?

every year i look forward to award shows because it brings every body together and they are entertaining. ( also im a sucker all those red carpet specials on tv ) what i think needs to be changed is the date. they are always on sundays. and people are usually tires from the weekend.Was this review helpful to you? May 31, 2008I like the show because it is cool and funny. Also it has some things I like about that it is there and weard.But if you have think that it could get brod then it could be not fun.
