The Chicks Totally Deserved Every Award
February 15, 2007
To the reviewer who said the Dixie Chicks didn't deserve their Grammys: you have no idea what you're talking about. Their CD, "Taking The Long Way," is one of the best, most cohesive group of songs that I have ever heard. If you've never listened to it, you have no right to bash it.

Carrie

Actually she's only put one album out - Some Hearts - which came out Nov. 2005. She may have appeared on the AI Season 4 cd but it wasn't her album. She's a newcomer because her album came out too late in 2005 to be considered for a 2006 grammy so that's why she was up for it this year. I'm glad she won, I think she gave one of the best performances of the night with Desperado.

I loved the show is was amazing all the stars were doing their stuff, first my best dress of the woman was Nicole Scherzinger she was working it I loved her dress it was beautifully and she actually wore two that night and the second one was just as hot, for the guys my best dressed men would have to be John Legen He just knows how to work it. The shows were amazing it left you wanting more and you never wanted it to end.

Dixie Highway Robbery

Pathetic!! A group who has had ZERO airplay on any station in any genre of music beats out the likes of John Mayer, Justin Timberlake, and Mary J. Blige for 4, count 'em, 4!!! fricking Grammys.
I guess nowadays all you have to do is trash Pres. Bush and they'll hand you an armload of Grammy's.
Sorry, John, Mary J, Justin... Go out to England or Canada or maybe Iran and trash our country and it's leader, forget about the "music" thing...
