Episode 1 Originally aired: September 28, 2008Eleven new teams depart from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, embarking on a race around the world. Some of the teams go to the wrong ticket counter causing a delay. Mark & Bill arrive first in O Rei Do Pernil. The teams must climb down a cargo net or go down the cathedral stairs. Only Andrew & Dan opt for the stairs. Anita & Arthur finish last and are eliminated.

Do You Like American Candy?
Episode 2 Originally aired: October 5, 2008The teams head for Fortaleza, Brazil. Anthony & Stephanie run into trouble when their taxi stalls. The teams must choose the Beach Route or the Dock Route for the Detour. After running into trouble finding a taxi, Terence & Sarah fell to second to last place. Ken & Tina finished first and Anthony & Stephanie finished last and were eliminated.

Did You Push My Sports Bra Off the Ledge?
Episode 3 Originally aired: October 12, 2008The teams head to La Paz, Bolivia. Mark & Bill misread a clue and take a taxi when they should be walking. Nick & Starr reach the U-Turn first and opt not to use it. The teams must face a Bolivian wrestling group. Ken & Tina arrive in first place and win the trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Due to their penalty, Mark & Bill finish last and are eliminated.

Episode 4 Originally aired: October 19, 2008The teams head to Auckland, New Zealand. The teams struggle in a challenge to crush kiwis. Ken & Tina finish first. Marisa and Brooke finish last and are eliminated.

Episode 5 Originally aired: October 26, 2008The teams head to Singapore and from there to Siem Reap. Starr insists that they stop for directions, costing the team valuable time. For the detour teams must choose Village Life or Village Work. Nick & Starr make it to the Bayon Temple first. Aja & Ty finish last and are eliminated.

Episode 6 Originally aired: November 2, 2008The teams make their way to Dehli, India. Nick & Starr take an early lead in the game and later they win electric cars. Ken & Tina finish last, but instead of being eliminated they are just required to face a speed bump in the next leg.

Episode 7 Originally aired: November 9, 2008Starr and Nick arrive at the roadblock first. The teams choosing the Teary Eyed detour face a strict Indian shopkeeper, while those choosing the Bleary Eyed detour must make their way to a street corner with a list of numbers. Nick & Starr finish first again and Kelly & Christy finish last and are eliminated.

Episode 8 Originally aired: November 16, 2008The teams travel from India to Kazakhstan where a roadblock with over 30,000 chickens awaits. The teams have trouble communicating with the locals. Nick & Starr finish first again and Terence & Sarah finish last and are eliminated.

Episode 9 Originally aired: November 23, 2008The teams head to Moscow where they have trouble communicating with the taxi drivers and Nick and Starr slip to last place. Toni and Dallas arrive at the camp first. The teams must put on military garb for the detour. Nick & Starr make an error after leaving the bakery and nearly finish in last place. Episode 11 Originally aired: December 7, 2008The teams head for the finish line in Portland Oregon. The teams encounter a tree-climbing challenge and a challenge tasking their memories. Nick & Starr finish first winning Amazing Race 13. Ken & Tina finish second and Ken bring out their wedding rings asking Tina to marry him again. Andrew & Dan finish third.
