This show is family friendly. I have no problem with lettling my children watch this program. In a time when the majority of the shows aren't fit for children this program is good for all ages. I have no fear of leaving the room and coming back in to find who knows what is happening on it.

Why I like Andy
December 20, 2006
The Andy Griffith show is truly remarkable.Filmed before I was born, and I am no youngster, it holds up incredibly well. Don Knott's portrayal of Barney Fife is still enough to make the viewer laugh out loud whether they have watched an episode once or a hundred times. Some people criticize Andy Griffith and shows like it,The Brady Bunch comes to mind, for showing morality and integrity that most families would be hard pressed to match. I however feel these shows give people goals to strive for. It makes me happy to come home and see my kids glued to TV Land. Oh sure they watch the O.C.,Punked,and Jackass etc.,but they also spend a lot of time watching Full House,The Cosby Show, and The Brady Bunch. I guess Andy Griffith represents to me what these shows represent to them. Great characters, great humor, and just maybe some good life lessons. A lot of folks must feel pretty good about Andy Griffith considering the airtime it receives almost fifty years after its creation.

WATCH IT EVERY DAY
June 14, 2007
THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST SHOW EVER ON TV. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE FATHER AND SON WAS GREAT. I LOVED DON KNOTS. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE WAS AUNT BEA'S IRRITATING VOICE.

Andy Griffith Show
January 13, 2007
I am relatively young, early 50s. This show was (to me) the very best ever made, bar none. Those other shows, forget it. Can't even come close. I am just going to read an article about "goober" that is in our local paper.
I can pretty much tell my mother and her husband what they will say next on the show. I was very sad when Don passed away, but what a guy. The casting was magnificant.
Thanks.
