Having grown up as a geek and been surrounded by them a good part of my life, I find myself watching this show and saying "I know those guys" as I crack up laughing. Each character has mannerisms which match people I know, especially Sheldon.

I haven't set aside time for a sitcom since the early years of "Malcolm in the Middle", but I've now got a half-hour booked on every Monday night.

I like all the characters. I love this show, and as some have posted on here, it will probably be cancelled because I like it! The scripts, especially for Sheldon, are genius (pardon the pun). This actor is incredibly funny -- perfect timing and execution, and I have always liked the actor who plays Leonard from Roseanne. It was great to see Sara Gilbert and he reunite on screen, although briefly, on the third episode of the season.

Leonard and Sheldon's two friends are perfect supporting actors, and Penny has a brain -- she's not so ditzy that she is irritating (actually, she seems quite normal for a young lady -- perfect foil to these socially inept brainiacs). This makes the plot completely enjoyable, rather than suffering from an eye twitch afterward as a result of wanting to smack the blonde airhead. I do hope these writers and actors hold up to the standards of the pilot. It is the funniest sitcom I have seen in a long time.

This is one show I bother to record on HD because I actually watch them again -- and still laugh.

.....Just never get rid of Sheldon!

This show is so full of laughs! This is my favorite show of the week. Monday night is TV night for us, but this is the best. This show keeps me laughing all week when I think back about it. Please keep this show on the air, the cast and writers are the best. My husband and I laught out load, even at the reruns, they are just as funny as the first time we saw them. Just like I Love Lucy no matter how much you see it over and over it is funny.

This show is hilarious. I work with so many people like this and even dated a few. This is true to life - geeks really are this funny and socially akward. Brings back funny memories too.
