Wow! With just one pilot I was completely hooked. It seems like someone finallly got tired of the Italian Mob thing, (don't get me wrong Italian Mob shows and movies are good), but this show is different to other shows, which is what viewers want. I look forward to seeing the next episodes, and can't wait to see what Tommy will do next! Hopefully there will more than just one season.

I loved the new show the Black Donnellys i thought it was innovative and pretty well acted. I thought it was actually pretty funny too. Joey "ice cream" was one of my favorite characters because his narration explained enough so you could have a good laugh while learning about the characters. This show was fun to watch and extrememly interesting it goes all the way and it was only the first episode i cant wait to see what Paul Haggis throws out next.

It helped that i already like the mob drama genre already but this show really was more than just the mob it was family and making choices. I can only hope the next couple of episodes will be just as fun as this one was to watch.

Downfalls: A little slow sometimes. This may be just me but it didnt seem as realisic without as much vulgarity that you would find in the Sopranos or the movie The Departed. Exposed a lot in the beginning dont know where they will go from here.

Highs: Good action. Great plot. Good acting. Funny. Fun to watch. Incticing. Interesting. Overall very good

To be quite honest, I played solitaire while watching the pilot online until the last 15 minutes or so. Just another good vs. evil show. The characters did not grab my attention in the beginning. Although, I was slightly intriqued by Tommy. However, by the end, I was eager to see what would happen next. I am looking forward to the next episode to see how Tommy is going to deal with the irrevocable choice he made and if in fact he will take over the neighborhood and defend it.

I really enjoyed the pilot - especially the last 15 minutes! Hopefully they can keep this going. I like the use of humor - just enough but not over the top. I'd like to see more episodes...
