Engrossing spy stories from the early CIA files. Great acting, great series. Stop reading this or any review. Watch this show. Its terrific.

this is a la par with the writings of Prados - "The Secret Wars of the CIA", and Powers - "Intellingence Wars".Very realistic and shows you the intricacies of the not glamorous often very boring , trying and dangerous job of field agents during the cold war. at the same time is fascinating to watch the angency infighting and its inbred problem of dealing with "the art of deception".
