Best show to watch while deployed to Iraq
April 16, 2008
I look forward to watching CNN, MSNBC, FOX news and the ABC Nitely news so I can see all the horrible things going on in the world. I then wait anxiously for your show to raise my spirits and get a good laugh. Listening to many journalists views about politicians, the war over here (I'm on my 3rd tour),the violence and natural catastrophes of the world can change peoples views but when your show intelligently but with good common sense spoofs them it makes me feel I'm not alone. I love the military and would love to watch a real soldier give his or her actual view on things over here without fear of reprisals. If anyone should be able to speak freely it should be those of us over here putting our lives on the line which we volunteered to do for whatever reason we all enlisted for. I retire soon and will be in the civilian world and politics and other issues will matter more to me after this deployment is over. Tired of not being able to say how I really feel without dishonoring my fellow soldiers who paid the ultimate price or are mentally or physically scarred. Keep showing the other networks for the hipocrites they are as they report the news and keep us laughing while you report the fake news and open our eyes to different opinions instead of the ones we get bombarded with. How the hell did you get the President of Pakistan on your show? You should get that guy from FOX on your show. I think his name is Bill something, you know who I'm talking about the bigot whose view is all that matters, or at least thats how I see him. Keep up the good work and the show I saw last night was truly amazing. Yes you are even seen over here and the soldiers can't get enough your eye opening segments about certain situations that are reported on the other networks. Thank you.

Best half hour on television

Breath of fresh air...funny, smart, and right!! Don't miss it! If you want to make good decisions when you vote...this is the show to watch...Pokes fun at all the ugliness we now have in Washington....and makes you feel a little better - like maybe we can survive until 2008...maybe.

Very brilliant satires,bear-knuckles, take no prisoner approach to
news reporting and analysis of current events,at a time that truth is
shrouded in mediocrity and political correctness.
I look forward to this freshness in a society that is aversed to
critical self examination and self appraisal---the very ingredients of truely progressive society. It is refreshing to know that there are
still some journalists with so much knowledge of how things are
supposed to be. Reminds me of those days when journalists were
much more than mere pretty faces.

The Daily Show
July 17, 2007
CNN claims to be the trusted name in news. I vote it is the Daily Show. At least Jon Stewart has the correct moral compass and got it right when the US decided to invade Iraq (among quite a few other subject).
Mess-O-Potamia is one of my favorite features on TV.
