I LOVE THE GOLDEN GIRL I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THEM ONLY SINCE 1994 AND I AM ANGRY AT MYSELF FOR NOT WATCHING THEM BEFOR THEN. I CANT GO ADAY WITHOUT THEM EVERY MORNING ON CHANNEL 48 AND SOMETIMES OFTER WORK AT 4 OR 5 OCLOCK I SET MY ALARM CLOCK IN THE MORNING JUST TO GET UPN TO WATCH THEM WITH MY MORING COFFEE. I CANT SEEM TO GO WITHOUT THEM I FEEL AS THOUGH I HAVE KNOW THE GIRLS MY WHOLE LIFE NO THANKS TO LIFETIME THEY TOOK THEM OFF AND I LOVED LIFETIME UNTIL NOW I AM A CHANNEL 48 WATCHER NOW I HAVE 6 HD TV'S ONE IN EACH ROOM IN MY HOUSE AND THEY ALL ARE ON CHANNEL 48 SO WHEN I DO MY CLEANING EVERY MORNING I WONT MISS A SHOW AND MY RING TONE HAS BEEN THE GOLDEN GIRLS THEME SONG FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS NOW ALL MY FRINDS TELL ME TO CHANGE IT BUT, THAT WONT HAPPEN. I WISH I HAD A POSTER OF THE GIRLS DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I COULD GET ONE WILLING TO PAY CASH FOR A NICE POSTER. I RATE THE GOLDEN GIRLS A 100 A+

In my opinion, GGs is THE funniest TV comedy I've ever seen! I never grow tired of seeing the same episodes on DVD and television over and over again and each is as funny as the first time I saw it. Unlike many other TV comedies, every episode delivers laughs throughout. Both my sister and I are bigtime fans!

yet I watch them over and over again. Why? They comfort as well as entertain me. The story lines are still relevant and adresss issues that affect each member of society, not just the elderly. Both the writing and the acting on the show are impeccable, and no matter how many times I've seen a particular episode, it's always hillarious. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Estelle Getty. She will be sorely missed by Golden Girls' fans everywhere.

Losing Sophia to the world is a great loss. Maybe the girls couldn't go to the funeral because it was too sad. They wanted to remember her as she was. Me, I never go to funerals, they are very depressing, and I want to remember the person out of the coffin not in it. So, don't be hard on the others, I am quite sure they are very hurt by her death, and I am quite sure they loved her very much. I know I did.
