nice shooting
August 29, 2007
I thought SWAT are trained to be amazing shooter along with the military. I think i could do more damage with a cap gun before they ever shoot someone on the show. Way to show the world that we can shoot a gun that we are trained with.
Lame ending

Ridiculous dialogue, inconsistent plot
August 28, 2007
The premise for this show was promising, but the writing was dreadful. It did have a few good things going for it, like the premise, the suspense, and the action.
The speeches given by Wolf about the anti-war stuff seemed a bit over the top, as if the writers/producers were using it to get THEIR anti-war message across, not Wolf's.
How many times is that one "soldier" going to fall for the trick flirting of the rich girl?
Did we really need to see that one SWAT sniper on the roof every episode spewing some ridiculous philosophical garbage about how "Is a bullet a bullet before it leaves the gun?" It added nothing to the show, and didn't make me feel any kind of connection to that insignificant character.
Was that Courtney Cox's husband playing the one SWAT guy? With that cheesy moustache and bungling around, he was exactly like the sheriff from Scream.
And what was with the Captain's obsession with spelling and grammar in the first couple episides (so bad that he couldn't think straight until he got spraypaint to correct the misspelling on the sign in the store they made their HQ)? The trait totally vanished by the end of the series, and I'm sure if someone really wanted to, they could find mistakes in the grammar of his own dialogue. But what purpose did that serve?
Someone else already mentioned the big shootouts between SWAT officers and miltary veterans. And with hundreds of rounds being fired (and nobody running out of ammo?), very rarely was anybody hit.
And last, but not least, when the one-armed dude comes in to talk to them, he says, "Those are good men in there." Then Marky Mark and the SWAT lady say "How does he know who's in there? We didn't release to the press that it's Wolf's squad mates! He must be one of them!" Wrong. The fake news reports, before and after that scene, repeatedly mentioned the men inside as members of Wolf's platoon.
Too many inconsistencies, ridiculously unnecessary dialogue, unreleastic scenes, and moments that just make you roll your eyes at how retarded the characters are being for this show to be anything more than a show that will satisfy those looking for an action show that offers little more.
