Back at the office, Michael leaves Jim in charge and he tries to revolutionize the office birthday party system. He has a horrifying realization when his coworkers revolt, comparing him to Michael.

Unfortunately for the group, the dinner provides an uncomfortable insight into the dysfunctional relationship of Jan and Michael.
