Episode Description

At a billionaires' retreat, Mr. Burns wins the Boston Celtics in a game of poker. While hosting the season opener, Mr. Burns is the victim of several pranks at the hands of Dallas Mavericks' owner Mark Cuban. Mr. Burns decides to act like Cuban, with his over-the-top stunts, in order to win over the hearts of Springfield's basketball fans. Mr. Burns decides that the best way to win the fans' hearts and minds is to build a brand new sports arena. The last remaining bee colony just happens to be located on the proposed stadium site and Lisa is personally starting a movement to protect them. As Lisa fights for the bees, Homer tries to help the diminishing bee population by mating the Springfield bees with Africanized bees.
