The Soup Rules!
February 8, 2007This show is great and hillarious. Joel McHale is the best Soup host ever! I loved when they did the Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire thing, genius! And hearing Whitney Houston yell "KISS MY ASS!" never gets old.Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -

It turns my pain into GOOD TIMES
August 14, 2007I feel physical pain when I have to hear daily dribble about Paris Hilton or any other snotty little rich useless sack of wind that the news throws at me. Americans are stupid because the choices of education aren't strong to begin with. The Soup takes otherwise useless news and rolls it into a more palatable format.
It's funny to me that it airs on E! of all places. Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -

Where's My Spoon?!
March 28, 2008Greg Kinnear. John "Skunkboy" Henson. Aisha Tyler. Hal Sparks. And now, Joel McHale! I LOVE the Soup, and have been watching since Skunkboy's extra-kinky romp with some fried chicken. Although talk television and soaps and all that jazz have kinda dimmed in the past few years, at least "The Soup" is always there to make fun of most of it and give me something to giggle about. I have my favourite moments with all of the hosts, but Joel's takes the freakin' cake! (Alright, compose thyself...) He was talking about Beyonce when she did a show in Madrid. When Beyonce kicked into "Irreplaceable", she thought she was the "sugar honey iced tea", and started doing that thing she does where she [profane] her head all violently while she sings & pauses dramatically at the bridge of the song. Joel said, afterward "...The audience was impressed, until they realized she was having a stroke... 'Somebody! Put a belt in her mouth! It's Reality-Show-Clip-Time!' DUDE! I laughed for almost a straight hour, and every five minutes afterward. Joel's a bit of comedic genius, definitely... Doesn't hurt that he's adorable, too, but let's not go there right now. Congratulations on your new baby boy, Joey! Keep up the GREAT work! Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -
