I Love this show Avon is my favorite character( by the way he isnt dead) and michael is also one ofm y favorite character i think he is going to kill off marlo.This show does portray how it really is in the hood and other neighborhoods im sad to see it go.

I love this show!!!!!!!!! It depicts the inner city of every state in america. I thought when stringer bell died. I thought it was the end. But knowing it going off the air is more brutal than I imagined.

This is a fantastic show, I searched for almost a year to find it again and I watch every episode. This show tops every other police, crime real life show on television. It shows the incompetent political shenanigans on law enforcement, finances, churches, budgets and elected leaders.
This Wire personifies how ghettos are created, and maintained by the elected leadership and law enforcement of our communities, how churches and their leaders are self serving and ineffective, representing no real voice of accountability and influence after voting in incompetents.

The sadness of our schools and their failure to our children.
the actors are dynamic....
I wonder what Rocket Scientist is ending this show.

Well living in B-more all my life, just about til I moved on to the military. I really can identifie wiith the whiole sceam of the show. It's a real life situation growing up in west B-more I lived on Edmondson Ave. all my life and to tell the truth it was hard growing up their. If you didn't get with the program you got moved out the way. I feel victim to that as a young man not knowing any thing but with the pain and anger to go with. So yes I think the show puts the life of Baltimore youth in the light. I am in Iraq is their any way I can see season seven of the Wire I miss watching it.shawn_y777@yahoo.com thank you
