It's about ratings, not the "Top Chef".

Top Chef has become (if it wasn't always) nothing but a politically correct popularity contest. The ONLY reason Jennifer or Robin weren't ousted the week before was because they ousted a female the previous week. Jennifer bombed two weeks in a row and almost begged to be sent home, but no, they sent Eli home after one bad show and kept both Jennifer and Robin. Robin should have been sent home WEEKS ago, and except for 2 fortuitous partner challenges, would have been.
The producers are determined to have one female in the finals ( ratings wouldn't be that good if they didn't), so no matter what Jennifer does, she's NOT going home. This is what I hate about these so called "reality" shows. They're primarily skewed toward the ratings and political correctness, not on the real skill of the chefs.
All things being equal, both Robin and Jennifer should be gone right now, but that's not going to happen. Better chefs will go home just so BRAVO can keep their ratings and PC up. It's a sham. There's nothing true about "Top Chef".Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -

Like everything about the show Padma is a great host.Tom is very Professional when it comes to judgeing. Love how the show goes to different locations.
Show is not long enough.

Is it my imagination or is the prerequisite that you have to have tatoos and the women don't know if they are women or men????? It is kind of scary the people who aspire to be chefs. I think they look so graphic (tatoos) that they have to hide in the kitchen. But I do love the show. Will still tune in.Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -

I really enjoy the show and the variety of dishes the chefs prepared. But when the judges reviewed the dishes I often could not remember what dish they talked about. I would have loved to see just for a second or two the image of the dish. So my ideal sequence would be:
Judge - dish - judge - chef.
I hope you can do that in future shows.

I love this show!!! I couldn't wait for this show to come back on!!! This is by far one of my fav shows on TV. I love the Competitiveness of this show!!! I record every show just to make sure I dont miss it!! Cant hardly wait from week to week for this one!! I know we are not suppose to comment on others comments but to the one who compared Top Chef to Hell's Kitchen... I love both shows but Hell's Kitchen is by far the better show.. only because Ramsay expects only the best out of the chefs and it is His Restaurant they are competing for.... so everything is on the line for Ramsay!!! NOw as far as Top Chef goes... I love Michael and Brian (the brothers) and I hope one of them wins... I'm rooting for Michael but I am also rooting for Ashley!!!
