Very understated acting. Nothing over the top. I love the show. I lived thru the sixties so everything is familiar to me - I am worried that younger viewers won't relate but I can tell you that it is right on! I was in my twenties during the sixties and everything is on point especially the roles of the female characters and all of the double standards. Too bad the next 2 generations didn't really see what women went thru fighting to get out of the secretarial, coffee fetching menial jobs women (smart women) had to do. Also the myths about "I'm not that kind of woman" in regards to sex are right on. Good girls didn't (actually they did but had to keep it a secret).

Leguizamo is great in this show. I think the show is a winner. It's tough and gritty and extremely entertaining. The acting is wonderful and the characters are believable

I hope they keep it on, I'm getting tired of falling in love with shows only to have them cancelled! I signed a petition for Jerhico.
The lead characters are very understated and don't over-act!
