A different view

3 stars
This was another show I followed, esp. since I wanted to see how TV showed a black family of the other side of the country survived in low income housing, even though I was one of a few whites in a all black low income housing on the west coast.

Favorite Characters

4 stars
There where three favorite charitors that seem to catch the eye,
Tootie--the black female that seemed to be best looking to me
Joe--The tomboy/want to be a street thug personality--which was a delightful counter to Blair
and Mrs. Garrett who had the resposibility of overlooking the girls as they grew up before her very eyes.

Clasic Comedy

3 stars
This, in my view was classic comedy at one of its best without all the slapstick that took place like in the three stooges, Luaral and Hardy, etc. And it followed a form of a story line of two couples who work for the city of NY. One being Ralph a Bus driver for the city, and his cohort, who works in the sewers

Comedy

4 stars
This show was a real off-beat show where Mork from Ork, is befriended by Mindy, a Boulder, Colorado, resident, and she learns @ soo many things. one of which is that Mork life is reverse of that of humans (the people of Ork are born the size of adults, and as they become old, the size becomes of a child). This show was Robin William first and true start as a TV/Film Comedian

A different Look

5 stars
It appeared to me that this show had a main objective, which was to show the differences between cultures andhow a monk of asian decent, who was running from the misguided laws of his country, and learning about ours which was very foreign and needing help and guidance.

A true Childrens Show

4 stars
Mr Rodgers Neighborhood, will always one of two favorite programs put out on TV (this one was on PBS) the other was Captain Kagaroo. There always seemed to be something to learn on each show, and if there was a rerun, It seemed as though I noticed things that I missd the first time. I sometime wish there were more show of this type today, that could reach out to kids like this one did in part with me as I grew up in the early 70's

Another COP show

4 stars
One of the big differences of this COP show is how telly Savalis portrayed his role as the leader of a group of detectives to solve the various crimes. ANother thing was his trademark was always carrying or having a loli-pop in hand

Variety Show

4 stars
This was a show that was a spin-off of the idea of bring big band era to TV with a twist, it was Polka Music. The conductor is an Occordian player, had a cast of singers, A realatively good size band for music, Dancers, and a variety of guests that would perform.
