When Agrestic burned down, so did this shows' good scripts.. What the hell? I hate all the changes so far.

1) They killed Agrestic -- which to me was the whole underlying point of the show... That even in so called idyllic but cookie cutter neighborhoods that its citizens don't necessarily have idyllic lives as conventional wisdom would have u believe.
1b) Because they killed the houses, they had to kill the theme song "Little Boxes"...
2) They split up the cast.. Let's face it. the family by itself is not very funny. The family plus the wanna be Hispanic gangster is beyond tired at this point. I mean I can only take so much Nancy and Guillermo in 30 minutes. I can only take so much Shane and Silas in 30 minutes. The show was just magic when you had the black people, the Indian kid, Doug, Celia's husband and daughter all interchanging story lines.
3) Albert Brooks' presence in the first four episodes were overrated and not that funny.

I still hold out hope that the first 4 is just setting up a hilarious run til end of season. But i doubt it.. it's almost like they hired a completely new set of writers.
