Why Billy Bush?

As a local casting director I am enjoying the challenges these contestants have to face(interesting choices of song and dance material.) Many of the final contestants have performed with passion and conviction.Should true talent win out I feel Max and Laura belong on Broadway. I enjoy the honest yet constructive comments by the judges. My only question is why is Billy Bush hosting this show?
