I grew up in the early 70's when Twilight Zone was at its most popular time. It was and has been entertaining without the "blood and guts" thing , that people are into today. Today's shows are so vivid and horrible, that I won't let me kids watch this crap, It seems to have enticed our world to kill and thrive off of what they see on T.V., where as Twilight Zone just allowed your imagination to run and get back to reality.
